Qualifications

• Knowledge of peer support principles, values, and ethics.
• Ability to share lived experience to support recovery.
• Must have current Peer Support Specialist certification.
• Supervision by a Qualified Professional (QP) is required.
• Not a family member of the beneficiary.

Responsibilities

• Attend care planning and provider engagement meetings.
• Collaborate with care management to promote housing, finances, and health.
• Help beneficiaries navigate medical, social services, and legal systems.
• Promote self-advocacy and empowerment for beneficiaries.
• Maintain documentation and comply with policies and procedures.
