Job summary

Ampact is recruiting Recovery Navigators for Recovery Corps to support individuals on their recovery journeys. You will receive training to provide peer mentoring, guide participants in navigating resources, and help develop recovery action plans.

Responsibilities include building relationships, connecting clients with services, tracking progress, and engaging in ongoing professional development. This is a full-time AmeriCorps role with daytime hours.

Qualifications

• In recovery for at least one uninterrupted year from a substance use disorder.
• Dependable with a history of good attendance.
• Able to understand and follow instructions.
• Able to set a pace and maintain a service schedule with hours commitment.
• Basic computer skills (email and online navigation).
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
• 18+ with HS diploma or equivalent.
• US citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident.

Responsibilities

• Foster strong relationships with participants.
• Lean on your recovery experience to provide mentoring and peer support.
• Connect participants with social service resources and programs.
• Track participant recovery plan progress.
• Participate in training and professional development throughout the year, including Peer Recovery Support training.
• Share your experience with the community.
