Job summary

Bay Cove Human Services’ Recovery Navigator role at the Cape Cod location supports clients aged 14+ to overcome barriers and engage in medical and behavioral health care. It is a non-exempt, frontline position within the Behavioral Health and Wellness Center.

The role centers on peer support, recovery coaching, and navigating service systems, with emphasis on reducing stigma and advancing access to community resources. Strong communication and lived experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Certified Peer Specialist or Recovery Coach.
• High School diploma or GED with 2 years direct care experience.
• Ability to share personal recovery experiences to help clients.
• Experience with behavioral health populations and access barriers.
• Strong writing and communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Peer Support and/or Recovery Coaching with individuals.
• Conduct wellness, resiliency and recovery sessions, including goal-setting.
• Advocate for clients and facilitate communications with providers.
• Develop and document a person-driven plan in the EHR.
• Facilitate referrals to community or social services.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
