Job summary

Bay Cove Human Services on Cape Cod seeks a Recovery Navigator for the Behavioral Health and Wellness Center to assist clients aged 14+ in navigating medical and behavioral health systems, reduce barriers, and promote recovery through peer support and coaching.

This non-exempt, full-time role requires strong communication, empathy, and documentation in the electronic health record, plus experience with crisis support, goal setting, and coordinating referrals to community services.

Qualifications

• Requires Peer Specialist and/or Recovery Coach certification.
• High School diploma or GED plus two years direct care experience.
• Willingness to share lived experience to aid clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide Peer Support and Recovery Coaching to youth and adults, building trust.
• Conduct wellness, resiliency, and recovery sessions; set goals.
• Advocate for clients and navigate service systems; reduce barriers to access.
• Develop a person-centered plan and document in the electronic health record.
• Facilitate referrals to community or social services.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
