Job summary

Vinfen is seeking an ACCS Residential Counselor to support individuals with psychiatric conditions in a group living setting. You will administer medications under the MAP and assist residents with activities of daily living, working with families, staff and the Clinical Program Director to promote independence and well‑being.

The role emphasizes recovery‑oriented, person‑centered approaches, cultural competence, and trauma‑informed care, with opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in a human services discipline preferred.
• Prior experience in human services strongly preferred.
• Bilingual/bicultural applicants favored.
• Must be 21+ and hold a valid US driver's license; pass CORI, driving record and reference checks.
• CPR and First Aid certification required within two weeks; MAP certification within 150 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support in a Group Living Environment.
• Administer medications under the MAP and assist with activities of daily living.
• Collaborate with families, friends, employers and staff to promote independence and quality of life.
• Assist in implementing recovery‑oriented, person‑centered treatment plans with the Clinical Program Director.

Skills
