Job summary

Vinfen is seeking ACCS Awake Overnight Residential Counselors to provide direct support in a residential Group Living Environment (GLE) for individuals with psychiatric conditions. You will work with residents, families, and staff to build independence and improve quality of life, including administering medications under MAP and implementing treatment plans.

The role requires a high school diploma (Associate's preferred), driving as a requirement, and the ability to perform physically demanding

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's degree in a human services related discipline preferred.
• Prior experience in a human services setting strongly preferred.
• Bilingual/bicultural applicants encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Help residents settle in and support sleep.
• Assist with treatment plans as directed by clinician.
• Perform daily assignments and support staff.
• Use recovery-oriented, trauma-informed approaches with residents.
• Adhere to safety, licensing standards and policies.
• Manage medication per MAP and educate residents on medication management.
• Support residents in meals and daily living activities.
• Participate in trainings, supervision and staff meetings.
• Assist with orientation of new staff.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports.
• Contribute to quality improvement goals and objectives.
• Provide crisis intervention with on-call back-up when needed.
