Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Certified as a Peer Support Specialist or 1 continuous year as a current or former recipient of treatment and eligible for certification.
• Must complete at least 20 hours of training within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide essential expertise and consultation to the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Advocate for clients and promote recovery and self-determination.
• Assist clients in daily decision making and connecting to community resources.
• Support peer groups and accompany clients to meetings as needed.
