Impact Life seeks a Workforce Development Specialist to help Recovery Cafe members achieve meaningful employment and long-term recovery. You will provide employment training, connect participants with job opportunities, and offer ongoing support across Wilmington and Newark locations.

The role emphasizes compassionate, person-centered care, trauma-informed practices, and collaboration with local partners to remove barriers to employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organizational, time management, and program coordination skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and online job search platforms.
• Ability to work effectively and compassionately with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Knowledge of or willingness to learn recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, and person-centered practices.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining a strong commitment to recovery and community support.

Responsibilities

• Provide employment training to Recovery Cafe members.
• Assist with job placement and ongoing support to secure and retain employment.
• Coordinate programs and collaborate with Wilmington and Newark locations.
• Adapt scheduling to meet participant and organizational needs.
