Ability Beyond is hiring an Employment Specialist to support individuals in building work readiness, job skills, and self-esteem through person-centered coaching. You’ll guide clients in resume building, interview prep, and soft-skill development, while connecting with employers to create inclusive opportunities.

Collaborating with community organizations, you will provide ongoing support, advocate for clients, and help them sustain employment, with extensive paid training and a strong benefits

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in psychology, human services, or related field.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Strong communication, advocacy, and networking skills.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in building work readiness, job skills, and self-esteem through person-centered coaching.
• Provide guidance in goal setting, resume building, interview preparation, and soft skills development.
• Partner with employers and community organizations to create inclusive, recovery-friendly employment opportunities.
• Offer consistent follow-up and advocacy to help individuals maintain employment.
• Identify job opportunities and network with departments or companies.
• Complete required documentation accurately and conduct follow-up visits.
