Job summary

Impact Life is seeking a compassionate Certified Peer Support Specialist for our Georgetown Recovery Capital program in Georgetown, Delaware. The role focuses on recovery coaching, engagement, and resource navigation to support long-term recovery and outpatient involvement.

You will build relationships, monitor recovery progress, and help participants access healthcare, housing, and other community resources.

Qualifications

• Current CPRS certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of peer-support principles and recovery-oriented care.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to travel to community locations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized peer recovery coaching and strengths-based support.
• Build supportive relationships that promote hope and engagement.
• Maintain regular participant contact and follow-up.
• Support participants during transitions and periods of vulnerability.
• Help implement Recovery Capital Plans with participants and coordinators.
• Identify and strengthen personal, family/social, community and cultural Recovery Capital.
• Connect participants with healthcare, housing, employment, and other resources.
• Connect participants with recovery communities and wellness resources.
• Provide warm handoffs and referrals follow-through.
• Facilitate or support recovery-focused groups and engagement activities.
• Collaborate with the Recovery Capital Coordinator and providers.
• Maintain timely documentation of contacts, services, referrals, and outcomes.
• Support collection of Recovery Capital outcomes and program data.
