Job summary

Hoyleton Youth and Family Services is seeking a Recovery Support Specialist to join our Behavioral Health Team. Reporting to the Clinical Supervisor, you will use your lived experience to build rapport with clients, assist with crisis plans, and help families learn self-care strategies.

In this role, you will complete screenings and assessments, maintain documentation, and collaborate with staff across departments on suicide prevention efforts.

Qualifications

• Must have personal lived experience and be able to relate to clients.
• CRSS status must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team.
• Previous mobile crisis response experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize lived experience to build rapport with clients.
• Assist with creating a crisis recovery plan.
• Engage family to educate them about self-care and support.
• Respond to screen needs and connect clients to appropriate care.
• Communicate effectively within a team to meet crisis needs.
• Provide brief therapeutic interventions as follow-up.
• Complete screenings, assessments, and clinical documentation.
• Maintain compliance with COA and regulatory requirements.
• Assist individuals in developing personal recovery action plans.
• Collaborate across departments on suicide prevention practices.
• Conduct outreach and educate the community about Hoyleton's services.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
