Job summary

Behavioral Health Network (BHN) is seeking a Recovery Specialist to join the Holyoke Transitional Support Services (TSS) team and help empower people to live healthier, more fulfilling lives. The role focuses on direct client services, crisis intervention, and holistic recovery planning within Western Massachusetts.

This full‑time position offers diverse duties including direct services, crisis intervention, documentation, transportation of clients, and adherence to licensing and funding rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in substance abuse treatment environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct services and ensure the well‑being of consumers.
• Overseeing client activities, produce accurate and timely documentation, and responsible for food shopping.
• Providing crisis intervention and emergency services, as needed.
• Transporting clients in their own registered and insured vehicle or program van.
• Adhering to regulations and requirements of licensing and funding sources.
