Lighthouse Behavioral Wellness Centers is hiring a Recovery Support Specialist to empower individuals and families in home and community settings. You will monitor needs, coordinate with internal and external providers, and promote recovery using personal experiences and evidence-based practices.

The role requires understanding co-occurring disorders, trauma-informed care and collaborative care, with a focus on promoting resilience and independence in clients served by the outpatient program.

Formación

• Minimum one year participation in local or national consumer advocacy or knowledge in mental health and substance use recovery.
• Current certification as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist per ODMHSAS standards.
• Core competencies in co-occurring disorders, trauma-informed care and collaborative care.
• Knowledge of recovery principles and practices and ability to collaborate with others to identify strengths and goals.

Responsabilidades

• Provide recovery supportive services in home and community settings to promote change to crisis stabilization and recovery.
• Assist Integrated Care Team by monitoring needs and helping individuals function through their strengths and community resources.
• Complete agency documentation thoroughly, accurately and timely.
• Serve as a role model for recovery and support engagement in treatment.
• Attend huddles, care and discharge planning and staff meetings.
• Travel as required and perform other duties as assigned.
