Job summary

Pinnacle Treatment Centers, Inc. is seeking counselors (I–III) in Bakersfield, CA. The role supports recovery through individual and group counseling, assessments, and treatment planning.

Monday–Friday shifts run 5:30am–2:00pm, with a benefits package and opportunities for professional growth. Positions require an associate degree (or higher) with California licensure/certification as applicable, and experience in addiction services is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires relevant education in counseling or related field.
• Kern County requires bachelor’s degree or 75% of required counselor certification courses (or HS diploma with 75% certification).
• Licensure or certification as required for California counseling roles will be needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional counseling and referral services to patients.
• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions as clinically necessary.
• Maintain referrals to physicians, other counselors, and community resources.
• Attend training and case conferences as required by program.
