Competitive hourly pay with a defined Counselor Tier Program, continuing education access, paid time off, and STAR LRP eligibility. Requires an associate degree or higher and relevant certifications for eligibility.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and licensure/certification to provide counseling services.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; high school with 75% certs acceptable in Kern County.
• Master's degree appealing for advancement; licensure required or pursued.
• Registration/certification by a recognized organization required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide orientation to new patients and explain program rules.
• Conduct intakes, assessments, treatment plans, and discharge planning.
• Engage patients in assessment and treatment planning; document progress.
• Monitor risk factors, relapse indicators, and coordinate referrals.
• Deliver individual and group counseling; document in EHR per policy.
