Pinnacle Treatment Centers, Inc. is seeking licensed and credentialed counselors in California to support recovery services. The Counselor I–III roles involve intake, assessment, treatment planning, and ongoing counseling within a regulated OTP environment.

Qualifications

• Counselor I requires an associate degree and required credentials to provide services.
• Counselor II requires an associate degree or major certification courses; 2-5 years experience or Master level.
• Counselor III requires licensure or certification; must be credentialed immediately upon employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide orientation to new patients on programs’ rules and rights.
• Conduct intakes, discharge planning, initial assessments, and initial treatment plans.
• Involve patients in assessment, treatment planning, and interventions to empower recovery.
• Administer biopsychosocial assessments at intake and ongoing.
• Develop individualized treatment plans using SNAP strengths and preferences.
• Monitor changes and relapse indicators; document accordingly.
• Comply with Medical QA and Clinical Risk Management policies.
• Provide counseling and referrals, and schedule regular sessions.
• Attend team meetings and complete required trainings.
