Job summary

BrightView Health in Ohio is seeking an experienced Counselor to join our treatment team. You will lead group therapy, conduct intake assessments, provide crisis intervention, and support patients on the recovery journey. The role requires 1+ year of relevant experience, with 2+ years preferred.

An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is desired, and active entry-level licensure or certification is required. You will work with an onsite multidisciplinary team and document thoroughly in the EHR,

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a relevant field
• Preferred: 2+ years in a relevant field
• Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree desired
• Active entry-level clinical certification or licensure required by state regulations

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct group therapy sessions and patient intake assessments based on clinic needs.
• Provide crisis and de-escalation techniques.
• Assist with treatment planning and monitor progress toward goals.
• Coordinate patient care with the onsite multidisciplinary team and attend meetings.
• Timely documentation of treatment data in the electronic health record and ensure compliance
