Job summary

BrightView Health is seeking a dedicated Counselor to support recovery journeys within a dynamic treatment team. You will conduct group sessions, assist in treatment planning, and ensure accurate documentation while collaborating with a multidisciplinary staff.

The role requires 1+ year in a relevant field, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred and a state-appropriate clinical certification/licensure at minimum. Competitive benefits and on-site work environment accompany this opportunity.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly empathetic and compassionate to effectively support the recovery journey of BrightView's patients.
• Team-player, able to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
• Adaptable and agile within a dynamic work environment.
• Technologically capable, comfortable operating in multiple systems for communication and documentation purposes; MS Office familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct group therapy sessions and patient intake assessments based on clinic needs and best-practice guidelines.
• Provide crisis and de-escalation techniques.
• Assist with treatment planning.
• Review progress towards treatment plan goals.
• Coordinate patient care with the onsite multidisciplinary team.
• Attend required meetings, including on-site staff meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Timely and comprehensively document all necessary treatment data into the electronic patient health record.
• Follow adherence to all necessary regulatory and company compliance requirements.
