Job summary

Behavioral Health Group - BHG is seeking a compassionate Counselor to provide individual and group counseling for patients in recovery. You will guide intake, develop treatment plans, and connect patients with community resources while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Human Services or related field required.
• Minimum 1 year of counseling experience required.
• Must be enrolled in or pursuing licensure if not fully licensed.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling for people recovering from drug use and alcohol disorders.
• Guide intake and orientation for new and returning patients.
• Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans and maintain patient records.
• Respond to crisis situations with compassion and complete required documentation.
