Brightli, a behavioral health provider, seeks a Peer Specialist to enhance recovery skills and engage individuals in their recovery journey. You will build therapeutic relationships, coordinate services, and help clients access community supports while modeling healthy, sober living.

The role emphasizes collaboration with families and supports transition planning, crisis intervention, and ongoing professional development in a community-based setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to share recovery knowledge while maintaining boundaries.
• Ability to connect clients to recovery resources and mutual aid groups.
• Clear and concise written reporting on services provided.

Responsibilities

• Co-design personalized treatment plans with individuals.
• Communicate with referral sources and guardians about progress and plans.
• Participate in meetings to ensure continuity of care.
• Assist in researching and referring to outside resources when needed.
• Schedule treatments and provide transportation to services.
• Accompany clients to appointments when allowed, representing the agency professionally.
• Support clients in accessing medical services and document accordingly.
• Offer crisis intervention and facilitate group education sessions.
• Pursue ongoing training to meet required hours.
• Help clients set recovery goals through advocacy and mentoring.
