Job summary

BestCare Treatment Services Inc. seeks a Recovery Mentor to support clients in early recovery stages within our intensive outpatient/Day Treatment program.

You will collaborate with the treatment team to design education, referrals, and parent components, and you will help facilitate classes and groups while modeling recovery behaviors. You will perform case management, provide transportation and outreach, and maintain documentation in the EMR.

Qualifications

• Must have lived experience with Substance Use Disorder.

Responsibilities

• Provide recovery coaching and engage clients in treatment activities.
• Coordinate transportation to services and appointments as needed.
• Assist with group facilitation and support sessions.
• Maintain patient notes in the EMR within policy timelines.
• Support the treatment team in relapse prevention and harm reduction.
