BestCare Treatment Services, Inc. is seeking a Recovery Mentor to support clients in our low‑barrier substance use disorders program at the BHRN Engagement Center in Prineville, OR.

The role focuses on peer mentoring, case management, and connecting clients with community resources. As a certified Peer Support Specialist or Recovery Mentor, you will work with the treatment team to design and implement education, referral, and recovery activities, while modeling recovery and maintaining client

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have personal lived experience with Substance Use Disorder.
• Must have maintained continuous recovery for the previous two years.
• CRM‑I certification or eligibility to obtain within 6 months.
• PSS or THW certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification, or ability to obtain within 60 days.
• Valid Oregon Driver License or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Makes regular outreach and relapse‑prevention calls.
• Provides client transportation as approved.
• Offers recovery coaching during activities.
• Attends group activities and sober meetings with clients.
• Assists with referrals and case management.
• Prepares and leads groups and education sessions.
• Maintains documentation in the EMR system.
• Supports clinicians in groups and treatment activities.
