Job summary

BestCare Treatment Services, Inc. seeks a Recovery Mentor to support the MOMS program clients in recovery during pregnancy. The role includes recovery coaching, education, referrals, and assisting with classes, groups and activities.

You will model recovery-appropriate behavior and collaborate with supervisors to implement program components. The position involves birth doula responsibilities, case management, and client advocacy within an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with the substance-abusing population.
• 1 year of continuous recovery if in recovery at hire.
• Ability to obtain required certifications within set timelines.

Responsibilities

• Participates in recovery coaching for clients using engagement methods.
• Provides client transportation in company vehicle when approved.
• Facilitates classes and support groups; assists with group activities.
• Maintains case notes in electronic health record system.
• Works collaboratively with the SUD treatment team and Birth Doula duties.
