Job summary

High Point & Affiliated Organizations seeks Recovery Coach staff to support residents in community-based recovery programs in Hyannis, MA. The role emphasizes compassionate care, case management, and coordination with local service providers.

The position requires one year of experience in substance use treatment or mental health, plus a high school diploma (GED) and lived recovery experience. Training will be provided, with opportunities across full-time, part-time, or per diem schedules.

Qualifications

• Must have courteous and professional demeanor at all times.
• Excellent communication skills, including organizing ideas clearly.
• Ability to use basic computer software and learn the HPAO EHR.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others.
• Understanding of how substance use and mental health issues interrelate.

Responsibilities

• Maintain assigned caseload and provide direct resident care.
• Conduct assessments, counseling, discharge planning, and aftercare updates.
• Make referrals to aftercare services as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate medical records for residents and ensure timely entries.
• Engage with community partners to support sobriety and housing goals.
• Attend required meetings, trainings, and program initiatives.
• Coordinate scheduling and follow-up with community providers.
