Job summary

High Point & Affiliated Organizations seeks a dedicated Recovery Coach to provide emotional and social support, assist Members in building recovery skills, and connect them with treatment services and community resources. The role emphasizes collaborative care, documentation, and culturally sensitive peer support.

This full-time position requires a high school diploma and lived recovery experience, with travel to serve Cape Cod areas and eventual relocation to Hyannis as programs open.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and lived experience with substance use and recovery.
• CPR certification welcomed and beneficial.
• Ability to learn and use electronic medical records systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide emotional and social support to Members in recovery.
• Assist Members in developing recovery-related skills and connections.
• Support Members in engaging with treatment, peer recovery supports, and mutual aid networks.
• Work collaboratively with care providers and community resources to coordinate services.
• Maintain documentation of patient engagements in the EMR system.
• Promote recovery-oriented practices with sensitivity to diverse backgrounds.
• Participate in planning meetings and follow through on assigned actions.
