Job summary

Spectrum Health Systems is seeking a Part Time Peer Recovery Support role in Marlboro, MA. You will provide non-clinical support in Recovery Centers, drawing on lived experience with addiction to assist members and guide them toward health and community resources.

Responsibilities include health coaching, documenting activities, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment. A high school diploma and Recovery Coach certification within 12 months are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of Recovery Coach Academy and certification within 12 months.
• Experience using an Electronic Health Record is needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-clinical support in Peer Recovery Centers.
• Utilize lived experience with addiction to support members.
• Offer health and wellness coaching and connect patients to community supports.

Responsibilities

• Non-clinical support services within the Peer Recovery Support Centers to support members within the center.
• Providing this support from their own lived experience with addiction and/or co-occurring mental health disorders.
• Providing health and wellness coaching to patients and assist them identifying and utilizing health and wellness supports in the community.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years of uninterrupted recovery required three to five years of uninterrupted recovery preferred.
• Completion of Recovery Coach Academy and Recovery coach certification required within the first 12 months of employment.
• Ability to use an Electronic Health Record to document medically necessary clinical services.
• Strong skills in the areas of communication, follow through, collaboration, and customer service.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in contemporary Windows operating systems and Windows office suites with an emphasis on Word and Excel; ability to learn new systems; experience entering and working with data; and comfort and experience using mobile technologies.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• High energy level, flexibility, superior interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a multidisciplinary team atmosphere while also working independently.
• Must have a valid driver’s license. Must have access to a safe, operational, and insured vehicle and be willing to use it to transport Members.
