Job summary

Spectrum Health Systems, Inc. in Worcester, MA is hiring a Recovery Coach to support individuals in recovery at the Everyday Miracles program.

You will provide personalized, strengths-based peer support in the center and in the community, guiding members toward their personal recovery goals. Responsibilities include recovery planning, progress reviews, and building an empowering, collaborative environment for clients.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Recovery Coach Academy and certification within 12 months.
• Ability to use an Electronic Health Record to document services.
• Strong communication, follow-through, collaboration, and customer service.
• Proficient in Windows OS and MS Office; able to learn new systems.

Location: Worcester, MA - \"Everyday Miracles\" Peer Recovery Program

Pay Rate: $18.00-$20.00/hour

Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday

The Recovery Coach is responsible for:

• Providing personalized, strengths-based peer support to individuals in recovery, serving as a mentor, confidant, and guide


• Involvings one-on-one engagement, offering support both in the center and within the community, helping members navigate their recovery pathways and achieve their personal goals


• Conducting recovery planning sessions, maintains informal records, and revisits progress with participants to ensure ongoing goal achievement


• Being integral in building a supportive, empowering environment for individuals on their recovery journey

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.


• Minimum of two years of uninterrupted recovery required three to five years of uninterrupted recovery preferred.


• Completion of Recovery Coach Academy and Recovery coach certification required within the first 12 months of employment.


• Ability to use an Electronic Health Record to document medically necessary clinical services.


• Strong skills in the areas of communication, follow through, collaboration, and customer service.


• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in contemporary Windows operating systems and Windows office suites with an emphasis on Word and Excel; ability to learn new systems; experience entering and working with data; and comfort and experience using mobile technologies.


• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.


• High energy level, flexibility, superior interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a multidisciplinary team atmosphere while also working independently.


• Must have a valid driver's license. Must have access to a safe, operational, and insured vehicle and be willing to use it to transport Members.
