Job summary

Spectrum Health Systems' Everyday Miracles Peer Recovery Program in Worcester, MA seeks a full-time Recovery Coach. Earn $18.00–$20.00/hour with a comprehensive benefits package and 401(k) with company match.

Responsibilities include mentoring individuals in recovery, both in the center and the community, and helping pursue personal recovery goals. Certification required within 12 months; two years of recovery experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years of uninterrupted recovery; three to five years preferred.
• Recovery Coach Academy and certification required within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized, strengths-based peer support in the center and community.
• Engage one-on-one with members and help navigate recovery pathways.
• Conduct recovery planning sessions and record progress in informal records.
• Contribute to a supportive, empowering recovery environment.

Location: Worcester, MA - \"Everyday Miracles\" Peer Recovery ProgramPay Rate: $18.00-$20.00/hourSchedule: Full-time, Monday-FridayBenefits:Health, dental, vision insurance/additional voluntary insurancesCompany-paid life insurance/employee assistance programsGenerous paid time off accrualTuition reimbursement/loan repayment options401k with company match up to 7%!Discounts on wide array of services/entertainment nationwideThe Recovery Coach is responsible for:Providing personalized, strengths-based peer support to individuals in recovery, serving as a mentor, confidant, and guideInvolvings one-on-one engagement, offering support both in the center and within the community, helping members navigate their recovery pathways and achieve their personal goalsConducting recovery planning sessions, maintains informal records, and revisits progress with participants to ensure ongoing goal achievementBeing integral in building a supportive, empowering environment for individuals on their recovery journeyQualifications:High School Diploma or GED required.Minimum of two years of uninterrupted recovery required three to five years of uninterrupted recovery preferred.Completion of Recovery Coach Academy and Recovery coach certification required within the first 12 months of employment.Ability to use an Electronic Health Record to document medically necessary clinical services.Strong skills in the areas of communication, follow through, collaboration, and customer service.Strong computer skills, including proficiency in contemporary Windows operating systems and Windows office suites with an emphasis on Word and Excel; ability to learn new systems; experience entering and working with data; and comfort and experience using mobile technologies.Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.High energy level, flexibility, superior interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a multidisciplinary team atmosphere while also working independently.Must have a valid driver’s license. Must have access to a safe, operational, and insured vehicle and be willing to use it to transport Members.
