Job summary

A leading health services organization is seeking a full-time Recovery Coach based in Lynn, MA. This role involves providing non-clinical support services at Peer Recovery Support Centers and health coaching to individuals utilizing community resources. Candidates must possess a high school diploma, have a minimum of two years of recovery experience, and complete certification within the first year. Strong communication and computer skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of uninterrupted recovery required; three to five years preferred.
• Completion of Recovery Coach Academy and certification within the first 12 months.
• Ability to document clinical services using an Electronic Health Record.

Pay Rate: $20.00-$22.00/hour

Schedule: Full-time. Monday-Friday

Recovery Coach responsibilities

• Non-clinical support services within the Peer Recovery Support Centers to support members within the center.
• Providing this support from their own lived experience with addiction and/or co-occurring mental health disorders.
• Providing health and wellness coaching to patients and assist them identifying and utilizing health and wellness supports in the community.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years of uninterrupted recovery required; three to five years of uninterrupted recovery preferred.
• Completion of Recovery Coach Academy and Recovery coach certification required within the first 12 months of employment.
• Ability to use an Electronic Health Record to document medically necessary clinical services.
• Strong skills in the areas of communication, follow through, collaboration, and customer service.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in contemporary Windows operating systems and Windows office suites with an emphasis on Word and Excel; ability to learn new systems; experience entering and working with data; and comfort and experience using mobile technologies.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• High energy level, flexibility, superior interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a multidisciplinary team atmosphere while also working independently.
• Must have a valid driver's license. Must have access to a safe, operational, and insured vehicle and be willing to use it to transport Members.
