Job summary

Promise Resource Network seeks a Hub Peer Support Specialist to deliver trauma-informed, person-centered peer support at the Recovery Hub and Recovery Café in Charlotte. Qualifications

• Must identify as a person with lived recovery experience.
• CPSS in NC or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
• Demonstrated understanding of harm reduction and trauma-informed care.
• Ability to relate to diverse backgrounds, including homelessness and active substance use.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage guests at the Recovery Café, creating a trauma-informed environment.
• Facilitate recovery circles, peer groups, or wellness activities.
• Assist with Café operations, setup, cleanliness, and participation tracking.
• Provide emotional support and help guests navigate recovery resources.
• Promote Recovery Café principles: radical hospitality and community healing.
• Support harm reduction by providing non-judgmental care and supplies education.
• Track data and maintain documentation per PRN policy and funder requirements.
