Job summary

fsafederal is recruiting for a Records Examiner/Analyst to support FBI investigations by reviewing data from multiple sources, ensuring data completeness, and entering information into databases accurately. You will create case files and manage status to meet deadlines while providing timely updates to the team.

The role requires an undergraduate degree or a high school diploma with two years' experience, plus experience in asset forfeiture or related law enforcement.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree, or high school diploma/GED with two years of experience.
• One year experience in asset forfeiture or related law enforcement.
• Ability to grasp and understand the organization and functions of the customer.
• Demonstrated project and workload management skills.
• Excellent communication skills; oral and written.
• Ability to review, interpret, evaluate, and extract data from complex legal and non-legal documents.
• Strong attention to detail; meticulous data entry skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite; Excel, PowerPoint, Word; advanced skills preferred.
• Commitment to excellent customer service; positive and flexible.
• Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a professional disposition.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and evaluates data from multiple sources.
• Confirms completeness of data and resolves inconsistencies.
• Accurately enters data into databases, documents, or spreadsheets.
• Creates and manages case/project files.
• Manages validation and verification of case data systems.
• Keeps track of case file status to meet deadlines.
• Manages requests for additional information as needed.
• Selects relevant information to prepare documents, reports, and replies.
• Manipulates, transfers, computes and prints information.
• Prepares and modifies reports and correspondence using word processing software.
• Provides accurate and timely status updates.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
