Job summary

FSA Federal is seeking a Records Examiner/Analyst to support FBI operations nationwide. The role involves data review from multiple sources, accurate data entry, and preparation of reports and case files.

Qualified applicants have an undergraduate degree or equivalent, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and at least one year of relevant law-enforcement-related experience. U.S. citizenship and a competitive benefits package are standard expectations.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree, or High School Diploma/GED and two-years' experience
• One-year experience in asset forfeiture or a field related to law enforcement
• Ability to grasp and understand the customer organization
• Demonstrable project and workload management skills
• Excellent communication skills; oral and written
• Ability to review, interpret, evaluate, and extract data from complex documents
• Strong attention to detail; meticulous data entry skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; Excel, PowerPoint, Word; advanced skills preferred
• Proven commitment to provide excellent customer service; flexible
• Ability to work in a team environment and maintain professionalism

Responsibilities

• Reviews data from multiple sources and evaluates information
• Confirms completeness and resolves inconsistencies
• Enters data into databases or spreadsheets accurately
• Creates and manages case/project files
• Manages validation of case data and status tracking
• Keeps deadlines and status updates for case files
• Requests additional information as needed
• Selects relevant information to prepare documents and summaries
• Performs data transfers, computations, and printing as required
• Prepares reports and correspondence using word processing tools
