Job summary

FSA Federal seeks a Records Examiner/Analyst to support the DEA mission by reviewing and validating data from multiple sources, ensuring completeness, and preparing reports.

You will enter data into databases, manage case files, monitor deadlines, and respond to information requests with meticulous attention to detail.

This role requires an undergraduate degree (or equivalent experience), strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a team within a federal environment.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or High School Diploma/GED with two years' experience.
• Experience in asset forfeiture or law enforcement context preferred.
• Ability to grasp organization and functions of the customer.
• Proven project and workload management skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Ability to review, interpret, and extract data from legal documents.
• Meticulous data entry and attention to detail.
• Intermediate MS Office skills; advanced preferred.
• Commitment to customer service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and evaluates data from multiple sources.
• Confirms data completeness and resolves inconsistencies.
• Enters data into databases and prepares documents.
• Creates and manages case/project files.
• Monitors case file status to meet deadlines.
• Requests additional information as needed.
• Selects relevant information to prepare reports and replies.
• Manipulates, transfers, computes, and prints information.
• Prepares reports and correspondence using word processing.
• Provides timely status updates.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
