Job summary

Richman Property Services, Inc. in New York, NY, is seeking a full-time Recertification Coordinator to manage annual and new recertifications for LIHTC, HUD, and Section 8 programs across our portfolio.

The role requires four years of recertification experience, proficiency with Yardi, and strong attention to detail. A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration is preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; salary is competitive with benefits.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years of recertification specialist experience.
• Knowledge of HUD/Public Housing/Tax Credit policies and procedures.
• Detail oriented with the ability to operate on a deadline-driven schedule.
• Experience with Yardi property management software.

Responsibilities

• Identify tenants and complete leasing process for buildings in the portfolio.
• Verify tenant eligibility for vacant apartments; conduct interviews per Housing First and Fair Housing Act.
• Complete background checks and paperwork for LIHTC, rental subsidies, and rent calculations.
• Ensure tenants move in within thirty days and assist with lease renewals and annual re-certifications.
• Provide administrative support to Property Manager and Assistant Property Manager; respond to housing inquiries and maintain files.
• Process initial and annual recertifications and calculate retroactive rent per HUD guidelines.
