Job summary

Richman Property Services, Inc. is seeking a full-time Recertification Coordinator to join our team in New York, NY. You will manage LIHTC tenant recertifications, verify eligibility, and coordinate with tenants to ensure timely move-ins and annual renewals.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of recertification experience in affordable housing, proficiency with Yardi, and knowledge of LIHTC, HUD, and Section 8 policies. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field.
• 4+ years of recertification experience in affordable housing.
• Knowledge of LIHTC, HUD and Section 8 policies.
• Experience with Yardi software.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify tenants and complete leasing process for vacant units.
• Verify tenant eligibility and conduct interviews per Housing First and Fair Housing Act.
• Handle background checks and recertification paperwork.
• Calculate rents for annual recertifications and prepare necessary documents.
• Maintain tenant files and support to Property Manager and Assistant Property Manager.
