Amanda Ross State Farm is seeking a proactive Receptionist to join our team in Plymouth, MI. You will be the first point of contact for customers, greeting visitors and handling calls with a friendly, professional approach.

The role focuses on organized scheduling, accurate record-keeping, and proactive customer engagement. Must be capable of supporting the team with admin tasks while exploring opportunities to offer insurance options.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
• Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
• Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
• Engage with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
• Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers' needs.
• Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.
