We're looking for a warm, sharp, and dependable Receptionist to be the first face every guest sees at CANA New Bedford. You own the front desk — greeting guests the moment they walk in, verifying every ID, managing check-in and the waitlist, and setting the tone for a legendary visit before a guest ever reaches the sales floor.
This is a fast-paced, guest-facing, compliance-critical role. You're equal parts hospitality and gatekeeper — and you take both seriously.
Greet every guest warmly and professionally the moment they walk in.
Verify every guest's ID and confirm eligibility for every person who enters — zero exceptions.
Own access control: ensure only authorized, verified guests move past reception.
Manage check-in and the waitlist, communicate wait times accurately, and keep guests moving smoothly to the floor.
Answer phones and handle general questions with professionalism and care.
Invite every guest to join our free VIP rewards program at check-in — this is our #1 company priority.
Keep the reception and waiting area clean, organized, and compliant at all times.
Support the team and step in wherever needed.
Customer service, front-desk, or hospitality experience preferred.
Strong verbal communication skills — friendly, clear, and confident.
Detail-oriented and dependable; you don't cut corners.
Comfortable with basic technology and check-in systems.
Calm under pressure with a team-first mindset.
Cannabis experience is a plus, but not required — we'll teach you what you need to know.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Valid driver's license or state-issued ID required.
Must pass all required background checks.
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must comply with all applicable state and company regulations.
