Job Opportunity: Medical Assistant (Part-Time/Temporary)

We are seeking a motivated and friendly medical assistant with excellent customer service skills to join our office in the Chicagoland area. As part of our team, you will support healthcare providers and staff by performing both administrative and clinical duties, all while delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Administrative Duties: Answering phones, faxing, scanning, scheduling appointments, assisting patients with check-in procedures, escorting patients, completing medical records with proper documentation, and managing medical supplies.
2. Clinical Tasks: Performing treatments and X-rays under physician supervision, preparing exam rooms, disinfecting and cleaning patient areas, sterilizing instruments, and monitoring inventory.

Job Details:

• Type: Part-Time, Temporary
• Schedule: Tuesdays 8:00 am - 4:00 pm and Fridays 8:00 am - 12:00 pm (no weekends, April - June); Starting in July, Monday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, Tuesday 9:00 am - 3:00 pm, Thursday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm (no weekends)
• Experience: Customer service experience preferred (at least 1 year)
• Location: In person
• Salary: $18+ per hour, based on experience
