Sentara Health is hiring for a Certified Medical Assistant for Member Outreach- Remote in VA

Status: Full-Time, permanent position (40 hours)

Standard working hours: 8am to 5pm EST, M-F.

Location: Remote in Virginia only

Job responsibilities:

1. Make daily calls (40 calls/day); 90% outbound, 10% inbound
2. Use EPIC, JIVA, and QNXT systems
3. Schedule member appointments for annual wellness visits
4. Update member charts and document notes for primary care, prescription refills, or urgent care needs
5. Schedule telehealth appointments as needed

Education:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent REQUIRED
2. BLS REQUIRED within 90 days of hire

Certification/Licensure:

1. CCMA, CMA, RMA, or EMT-B REQUIRED

Experience:

1. At least 1 year of clinical or administrative experience REQUIRED
2. Customer service or front desk experience is acceptable
