Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist residents, families, guests, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer questions and provide helpful information.
- Answer and direct phone calls and accurately take and deliver messages.
- Keep resident and company information private and confidential.
- Maintain professional boundaries with residents, families, and visitors.
- Stay alert to unusual activity and help maintain a safe and secure environment.
- Follow safety and emergency procedures in a calm and professional manner.
- Remain at the Reception Desk during emergencies as required.
- Communicate clearly with residents, families, visitors, employees, and others.
- Stay calm and professional during busy or stressful situations.
- Adjust to changing needs and complete other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in reception, customer service, administration, hospitality, healthcare, or senior living is preferred.
- Basic knowledge ofMicrosoft Word, Excel, and email.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to read and follow policies, procedures, and safety instructions.
- Good organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to protect confidential information.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A genuine interest inserving and working with older adults.
