RECEPTIONIST/ADMIN ASSISTANT

SUMMARY

The primary role of this position is to facilitate the transition of all in-coming phone calls and visitors to the proper associate in a timely manner. Also, this position will be responsible for administrative duties to be assigned from time to time by Management that can be performed while stationed at the reception desk.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Greet each visitor with a professional demeanor
  • Diary all visitors and vendor deliveries
  • Ensure office security and manage front desk
  • Transfer calls to the appropriate MCS office and representative
  • Assist with opening, sorting and scanning mail
  • Ensure lobby, conference rooms, and break-out room are kept orderly
  • Complete special projects with operations and finance team
  • Coordinate employee and client events
  • Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interact with customers at all levels via phone manner or visitors
  • High-level of attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task effectively and maintain organization and composure under high pressure

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Associate's Degree is preferred, but at minimum a High School Diploma or equivalent education and 1-2 years of related work experience

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to sit for prolonged periods in a 7 1/2 hour to eight-hour day. Excessive use of phone, computer keyboard and monitor
