Are you friendly, organized, dependable, and someone who enjoys helping others? Berger Briggs Insurance & Risk Solutions is looking for a part-time Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to be the welcoming face and voice of our agency.
This position is the first point of contact for many of our clients and visitors and plays an important role in creating a positive experience from the moment someone calls or walks through our doors. In addition to answering phones and greeting visitors, this position provides a variety of administrative support throughout the office and works with different members of our team.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, vendors, and others contacting or visiting the agency.
- Answer incoming telephone calls promptly and professionally, determine the nature of the call, and connect callers with the appropriate team member.
- Greet and assist visitors, determine the purpose of their visit, and notify the appropriate employee of their arrival.
- Take and deliver accurate messages and monitor general voicemail as needed.
- Provide general information regarding the agency and direct questions to the appropriate department or team member.
- Maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming reception and common area.
- Assist with incoming and outgoing mail, certified mail, overnight packages, and other deliveries.
- Monitor postage supplies and coordinate replenishment with Accounting as needed.
- Monitor incoming faxes and distribute information to the appropriate team members.
- Order, receive, organize, and maintain office supplies and coordinate office equipment service or repairs as needed.
- Prepare policy binders and other client materials as requested by service staff.
- Assist with maintaining and updating agency information and website content as requested.
- Provide clerical and administrative support to Accounting, Human Resources, and other agency departments as needed.
- Assist with special projects, employee and client events, meetings, and other agency activities as requested.
- Maintain confidentiality of client, employee, financial, and agency information.
- Perform other administrative duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in a receptionist, administrative support, customer service, or professional office environment preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
