Job summary

GetHired, Inc. is seeking a dependable receptionist in Virginia Beach to be the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and staff. This role supports daily admin tasks and office operations with a welcoming, professional presence.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, handling calls, directing inquiries, coordinating meetings, and assisting with scheduling and supplies. Familiarity with Canva, Screen Cloud, and MS Office is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of receptionist/administrative support experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Canva and Screen Cloud experience a plus.

Position Description:

We seek a dependable, experienced, and customer-focusedReceptionistto serve as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and employees. This front-facing role is vital in creating a welcoming and professional environment while supporting daily administrative functions and office operations.

Primary Responsibilities & Essential Functions
  • Greet and welcome all visitors, clients, and guests with a professional and friendly demeanor.
  • Answer and route incoming phone calls, take accurate messages, and provide general information about the organization.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Direct clients and visitors to the appropriate departments or individuals.
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages promptly.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
  • Create internal signage and notices as needed.
  • Prepare meeting rooms for in-person meetings, staff gatherings, and celebrations.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, booking conference rooms, and ordering office supplies.
  • Support the Executive Assistant and collaborate with other team members as needed.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a receptionist, customer service, or administrative support role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with or basic knowledge of Canva and Screen Cloud is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of digital marketing.
  • Familiarity with office management systems and procedures.
  • Strong data entry and administrative skills.
