Job summary

Williamson Comprehensive Treatment Center, part of Acadia Healthcare's network, seeks a Receptionist to welcome patients and visitors in a professional manner while handling phones, scheduling, and general front-desk tasks. This full-time role operates in the Williamson, WV clinic with early hours to support daily operations.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and prior office experience, preferably in healthcare, with strong communication and data-entry skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Previous office/administrative experience is required; healthcare setting preferred.
• Experience in answering phones, billing, typing or word processing, office machines, and filing.
• Must be comfortable working in an addiction recovery environment.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone calls and take messages or forward calls.
• Schedule and confirm appointments and maintain calendars.
• Greet and welcome patients, clients, and other visitors.
• Check visitors in and direct or escort them to destinations.
• Inform staff of visitors’ arrivals or cancellations.
• Enter customer data and send correspondence.
• Copy, file, and maintain documents (paper or electronic).
• Handle incoming/outgoing mail and email.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Your Job As a Receptionist

The Receptionist will receive patients and visitors to the clinic in a professional manner in accordance with the office procedure of the clinic. They are responsible for answering phones, general administrative functions and providing general information about the clinic to patients and the public.

Your Education, Skills And Qualifications
