Job summary

Lithia & Driveway is hiring a Receptionist to greet customers, handle payments, and manage phone inquiries in our Union, NJ showroom. The role requires a customer-service oriented mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a busy dealership setting.

We value prior dealership exposure but it is not mandatory; you’ll work with sales and administrative teams to ensure smooth daily operations and accurate clerical support.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in administrative customer-facing roles.
• Prior dealership experience is ideal but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Acceptable driving record and valid driver’s license in your state of residence.

We're looking for performance-minded individuals that will help us continue to drive success.

What You'll Do:

• Greet and assist customers who enter the store showroom
• Process customer payments and credit card transactions
• Answer and address all incoming phone calls in a friendly, prompt and professional manner
• Occasionally scan and file documents as needed
• Coordinate vehicle delivery process with salespeople such as contacting customers as needed for license plate pickup and other clerical duties
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of desk and showroom
