Job summary

Newfane Rehabilitation and Health Center in New York seeks a part-time receptionist to cover every other weekend (Sat and Sun) and one weekday evening, 4pm-8pm. You will operate the switchboard, greet visitors, and support sales/marketing and business office teams.

You should bring hospitality experience, a customer-service mindset, and strong verbal/written communication skills to thrive in a fast-paced health-care environment. Equal opportunity employer.

Responsibilities

• Operate a console telephone switchboard and greet visitors.

• Address questions/concerns of residents and families.
• Support sales/marketing and business office teams.
• Greet visitors at the front reception desk and direct needs accordingly.
• Represent the community professionally to visitors and callers.

Part Time Receptionist for Every other weekend (Sat and Sun) and one evening during the week. 4pm-8pm.

Duties Include:

• Operates a console telephone switchboard in order to relay incoming, outgoing and interoffice calls. Greets and receives visitors and directs as appropriate.

• Providing exemplary customer service in a friendly and professional manner.

• Overall management of the lobby area and graciously greeting community visitors.

• Addressing the questions or concerns of prospective or current residents and families.

• Providing support to the sales/marketing and business office teams.

• Greets visitors at community’s front reception desk.

• Represents community to visitors and callers in a professional, pleasant and courteous manner; ensures their questions and needs are directed to the appropriate person.

Necessary Skills/Qualifications:

• Experience with hospitality, seniors, health care and service delivery.

• Customer Service/Hospitality background-emphasis highly preferred.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
