Qualifications

  • Salesforce familiarity is beneficial; prior law office experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

DiCello Levitt, a nationally prominent, Chambers and Benchmark-rated law firm with offices nationwide, is seeking a full-time Receptionist to support our New York office location. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact with clients and visitors for the Firm. Responsibilities include inbound call answering, welcoming guests, greeting visitors, administrative tasks, and coordination of front-desk activities like distributing mail and correspondence and redirecting phone calls.


The successful candidate will have a positive and welcoming personality, as this is a customer service type of role, in addition to the demonstrated ability to multitask.

Role and Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include:



  • Primary responsibility for this position is answering, screening, and directing inbound phone calls; taking messages, updating the office calendar, and scheduling meetings as needed.

  • Greets clients, visitors, and guests; determines the purpose of each person’s visit and directs or escorts them to the appropriate location in the office.

  • Receives mail, documents, packages, and distributes items accordingly.

  • Performs administrative and clerical support tasks, like supplies ordering, scanning, photocopying, filing, typing, and recordkeeping.

  • Keep updated records of office related expenses.

  • Maintains conference rooms, break areas, kitchens, and reception area.

  • Additional duties as assigned.

  • Basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures and systems

  • Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities

Education and Experience


  • High School diploma or equivalent required; additional qualifications beneficial.

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar position required.

  • Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and other office machines (e.g., fax, printer, etc.).

  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Familiarity with Salesforce is beneficial.

  • Prior law office experience a plus but not required.

Salary is dependent on experience and location.
