Job summary

Southcoast Health System, Inc. in New Bedford, MA, is seeking a Receptionist for per diem day and evening shifts at St. Luke's Hospital.

You will greet visitors, answer phones, transfer calls, and support the information desk while maintaining records and paperwork. You will also stock supplies, assist volunteers, and contribute to a welcoming patient experience in a fast-paced hospital setting. Prior customer service and computer skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Completion of 4 years of high school is preferred.
• Good computer and typing skills required.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills required.
• Good organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment required.
• Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) de-escalation training within 120 days of hire.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or have an approved exemption by signing a statement upon hire.

We are searching for a talented Receptionist

Hours: Per Diem

Shift: Day/Evening shift, 6:45am -2:45pm, 2:45pm - 8:15pm with On Call rotation (weeknights, weekends and holiday)

Location: St. Luke's Hospital - New Bedford, MA

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.
