Job summary

Southcoast Health in Dartmouth, MA is seeking a Patient Access Representative for a 40-hour day shift. You will check-in and check-out patients, schedule visits and tests, greet patients, answer calls, and perform clerical duties across assigned practices.

The role requires excellent customer service, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Prior medical office experience is preferred; vaccination per policy is required or exemption may be granted.

Qualifications

• Equal to the completion of 4 years of high school is required.
• Good computer and typing skills are required.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are required.
• Good organizational skills and ability to work in a fast paced environment is required.
• One year of medical office practice experience or graduation from a medical secretary program or the equivalent is preferred.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

We are searching for a talented Patient Access Representative

Hours: 40hrs

Shift: Day shift, 7:00am - 3:30pm

Location: Surgery - Dartmouth, MA
