Receptionist
The Kadima at Greenville is seeking to add a caring and compassionate receptionist to be part of our team and join a growing and dynamic nursing staff!
Our mission at The Grove at Greenville is to offer quality care to our residents, and to provide for them a loving and compassionate environment, attending carefully to their physical, spiritual, and emotional needs. The primary purpose of this role is to assume switchboard/phone system responsibilities, greet residents, families, visitors, volunteers, auxiliary and staff. Monitors lobby entrance and completes general office responsibilities while ensuring a safe environment.
This is a position that provides an opportunity to interface with many areas of the organization.
Ensure that the facility and department are maintained in a clean and safe manner and that necessary equipment and supplies are maintained and operable to perform required duties and services
Directs fire department to location or problem area
Maintains clean work area by keeping reception area neat and orderly
Acknowledges visitors who enter and exit the facility
Ask visitors to sign facility Visitor Log
Directs visitors, etc. to area in facility
Monitors residents who are outside front entrance of facility
Assures wandering residents do not leave facility unattended
Assures lobby area is near and orderly, presentable at all times
Takes resident payments and forwards to Business Office
Takes meal orders for families and visitors, and notifies Food Service Department. Delivers meal money to Business Office Director on a timely basis.
Contact copier company when front office copier is in need of repair.
Responsible for evening/weekend receptionist work agenda
Produces reports, letters or list at the directions of the Business Office Director
Notify HR of terminations or no-call, no shows as these occur to facilitate timely replacement
Contact and schedule agency staff as last resort to meet staffing needs
Monitor agency use to ensure department expenditures for agency
Must have a High school Diploma or Equivalent.
Previous receptionist experience is desirable.
Experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
